Client Policies
Cancelations
A cancellation is defined as giving notice to the practitioner of canceling your appointment either by phone or email. No show is defined as not showing up to your appointment and giving no notice of cancellation.

24 hour advance notice is required for canceling any appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you will be charged 50 percent of the appointment cost. Unexpected events and sickness come up. This policy can be reviewed on a case by case basis. If you are experiencing Covid like symptoms this fee can be waived and you are encouraged to not come in.

Clients who no show are responsible for the full amount of services. After 3 no show appointments clients will be refused service. This policy can reviewed on a case by case basis.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive 5 minutes early to your appointment. If you have not filled out any necessary paperwork online, please arrive 15 minutes early to do so.
Arriving late will shorten the length of your service but you will still be responsible for the full amount of the service booked. This policy can be reviewed on a case by case basis.
Hate Speech and Client Behavior
Any sexual behavior directed at the LMT from the client will result in immediate stopping of services and banning from future services. Full payment will still be due. Sexual behavior includes but is not limited to: innuendos, purposeful exposure by the client to the LMT, touching of the LMT by the client without consent, self touching in a sexual manner by the client. It is the LMT’s discretion as to when their personal safety is in jeopardy and when to refuse services.

The LMT retains the right to request changes in conversation if topics are brought up such as politics, private matters or questions out of their scope of practice. Any language that is racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, ant-fat, transphobic or endangering to others will strictly not be tolerated and could result in services being refused with the full cost of services due.

Any clients that make staff or clients at Asha Wellness feel unsafe can be asked to leave the premises and banned from services.
Client Centered
Verbal consent will be given by the client to the LMT prior to starting the massage for the service to be given. This consent may be revoked at any point at the massage by the discretion of the client.
Clients may choose to leave clothing on or disrobe to their level of comfort. Draping practices to the standards of the American Massage Therapy Association will be practiced. Only the area being worked on will be undraped.
The client has the right to request changes to pressure, area of massage, music, lighting and temperature at any point of services. The LMT will make any changes within all abilities to do so.
